This Halloween Phobophobia is back...and it's more terrifying than ever! (This event is now over but Phobophobia will return in 2011 - 17th-31st October 2011)
The London Bridge Experience & London Tombs, winners of the UK'S Scariest Attraction for both 2008 and 2009, invite you, your friends and your family to join us for Halloween event to remember. Our Phobophobia experience will leave you wondering if you have reached the very limit of your fear and promises to chill you to the bone.
Halloween is the time of year when all the darkest creatures come out to play. The London Bridge Experience is no exception. Attacking all of your senses and challenging all of your phobias, The London Bridge Experience and The London Tombs have pulled out all of the stops to create a Halloween show that will test your nerve.
Full of dark corners, rotting meat, crawling spiders, death and decay, howling spirits, eerie clowns, slithering snakes and confined spaces, our Halloween show is set to test your nerve.
Not only do we have evening events, but we also have special family shows throughout the day which combine elements of darkness whilst also being informative with a Halloween focus. Fun for all the family both young and old.
If you dare to brave one of our daytime shows, you'll also have the chance to face your fears on the Hellevator - London's deadliest lift. This new attraction is opening for the first time during the Halloween period and is sure to leave you a bumbling mess.
The London Bridge Experience & London Tombs' general manager, James Kislingbury comments: "Halloween is a large and ever-growing celebration. We take it as a personal challenge here at The London Bridge Experience to bring in a show that will leave London trembling. The fear industry is getting better and scarier, combining real fear with the latest technology to stun, scare and entertain visitors."
Given a ’12’ rating, Phobophobia is the ultimate Halloween show, and with shows taking place throughout the evening from 6.00pm until 1.00am on 29, 30 and 31 October 2010, you’ll need some serious courage to experience this. Our more friendly daytime show will be running throughout the day from October 18 - November 1. Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
The first part of the attraction is a trip back in time through the life of London Bridge - from the first bridge built by the Romans over 2000 years ago up until the present day.
Then, located within the eerie catacombs underneath London Bridge, the dark corridors and desolate tunnels of The London Tombs are famously haunted sites. During construction, some builders even refused to go back on site due to unexplained events occurring down in the depths.
This Halloween, The London Bridge Experience & London Tombs leave you at the mercy of the Bloody Butcher and his hellish clan, guaranteeing to give you the scariest, nerve-shredding, most exhilarating and pulse-racing Halloween yet.
Blood-stained walls, putrid decaying air and piercing screams in the darkness will have you quaking in your boots. Beware - only the bold, brave and downright courageous will make it out alive. After all, you never know what is lurking round each corner......!
